Leading international universities admissions firm, Globus Education Systems has appointed a Country Manager and a Marketing Communications Director for its Nigeria operations.
A statement from the company’s headquarters in Douala, Cameroun, revealed that this was necessary to boost its operations and activities in the country, while ensuring that qualified candidates secure admissions and scholarships into international universities in Europe, America, Asia and Australia.
Mr. Umar Haruna resumed office in Nigeria as County Manager in June 2021, while Mr. Sunday Ikwuagwu resumed office as Director, Marketing Communications in July 2021 at the company’s corporate headquarters in Douala, Cameroun.
Mr. Umar Haruna joined Globus Education Systems from Air Namibia, where he was the Nigeria country manager in Lagos, while Mr. Sunday Ikwuagwu joined from Walmond Communications Limited, a marketing communications consultancy in Lagos, Nigeria, where he served as Principal Consultant.
The Managing Director of the company Mr. Macellous Mbameg, said that the appointees are thorough bred professionals in their fields with a wealth of experience. He explained that appointments were made after a thorough and rigorous recruitment process.
